hi.

i offered to help out at work, making a new poster/price list for the boating lake bit we have. i've taken some photos of the boats, but they're a bit tatty looking and was wondering if anyone could help me out making them look a bit better / tidyer.

these images will be blown up to around a3 size i think - but we just need one of each type of boat.. i've just realised there was another type of boat and the pictures were on the other camera.. which i've just wiped the card in.. oops.

anyhoo, i don't want anyone to think im trying to get you guys to do my work.. i'm a chef, so this doesn't really fall into my normal day to day tasks!

the images i have to work with atm are here. anyone help me out here. would also appericate it if you could explain whats been done to them, as i do want to learn.

thanks, Mark.

the images are here. http://tackycheese.net/images/misc/boats/

thank-you for doing them. would love to hear how you go about it. whenever i try, i loose all the tones and shadows on stuff :(

The key is to do very small areas with the heal brush, then create a new layer and use a paint brush with the same colour as the area and draw over it, then blend the layer so some of the background appears through, having a good eye for painting helps.

Repairing the black bit on the yellow boat would take me ages to explain.
If you want these on A3 you'll need the large psd or tiff files i saved, and i dont have anywhere to host them, so add me to msn.
