Photoshop help

Is there anyone here skilled/kind enough that could turn this:

into an editable font in Photoshop? Really would like to learn this app, but I am struggling. I basically need fonts that have that as the 'fill', for want of a better word!..so it looks like metal letters.

You can't make editable fonts different colours. Fonts are one colour (black) until you change it using whatever program your in.

You can write what you need then mask it with that as a pattern. That'll work.

only the words 'move me'. Would be nice to know how it's done, if it's relatively straight forward?

Yeah it is.

File > New > Paste in your metal pattern.

Edit > Define Pattern

New > Use Type Tool to create text > Layer > Layer Style > Pattern Overlay > Select Pattern & Bingo.
