Hi there,

When I am in the selecting tool is there an option where it will show how many pixels i have selected as in height and width?

Also can u get the measurements for the current open image

Thanks...

Yes, there is an info tab (usually on the right hand side) You can select it to display in various measurements, pixels, cm's etc.

For the image measurements go to Image > Image Size. And the default values will be the current image's size.

I think i have changed a feature or something and now everything seems darker than it is, for instance if i print screen and paste it would be darker than it actually is?

What have i done?

Here is what i get when I take a print screen of the use of photoshop in paint:

If I then save the picture I have open in Photoshop it comes out in normal colors:

What have I done?

Make sure

Image > Image Mode > RGB is selected.

Unless you're working for print, where CMYK should be used.

Try going to edit>Colour settings and change the profiles around to see if that makes a difference. If that fails, try Edit>'convert to profile' on an excisting document.

I have the same problem but I can seem to get it to work. Can change to any colour setting and still remains the same colour...

What am I doing wrong.

When starting a new images......under the advanced you select some colour things........just keep changing them till you get the right one

Yeah thats what I did and i'm now happy.

I altered the following...When you click File, New and thena dialog pops up. I changed the Color Profile down the bottom there to my monitor one "True Internet Colour" and that has solved mine.
