In all honesty, a photoshopped painted wall would look weird and you could spot a mile off that it'a been shopped. That would make you look worse!

i have to agree. i think the OP should run to homebase grab a £5 pot of white paint and a roller set for a few quid and then paint over what is currently there to at least make the room look half decent. then the wallpaper guys can go over that in the future and you can update the photo.
