Hi there

This seems like best section to ask but I may be wrong. My calipers on my car need a refurb as they are looking a bit worse for wear, from factory they had options of black, red and yellow, maybe silver too.

Now I cannot make my mind up if I want to stick with red or try something different like yellow or maybe even orange or a burnt copper. I don't want anything neon/luminous just a regular colour though bright is fine, but as the car is ultra blue which is very bright, I feel there is no need for crazy neon bright calipers but at same time as they are huge then why not make them look good.

Any logos / text I put on shall be in black. I am doing front and rear calipers.

Here is some pictures of my car, well one identical to mine which I hope are suitable for photoshopping the calipers:

I hope those shots are acceptable? If not let me know and I can try to find some better ones.

As to caliper colour favourites so far are yellow or orange:

Though any colour is a possibility and here are some other caliper colours:

Big thanks to those in advance who take the time to photoshop some of the above images for me and to those who have no photoshop skills like me please refrain from just doing bright coloured blobs in paintbrush as that is really no help. ;)

But more seriously

Let me know if there are any other colours you want etc :)

Could you try some different shades of yellow and orange for me please, flatter ones and not so neon luminous?

Don't think green works at all, looks bit aweful.

As to black and silver, too boring, red is nice but not for me, I think yellow or orange is strong favourite. Blue would probably work but then too much blue. So yeah more shades of yellow and orange be good please.

The red matches the centre caps. I’d leave them red personally. Otherwise too many colours.

True but if it clashes, I can just get the black centre caps that Jaguar do, which would probably fit with the car best anway, black lugs and spacers going on today. :)

Haha it works, but not for me. :D

Yellow and orange is a very tough choice, both look great, orange would indeed be very unique. Painter has said he has Porsche Speed yellow and Focus ST electric orange in stock. Think ST orange probably a bit too bright.

Yellow is a dodgy one as that’s the Jaguar colour for the optional ceramics you haven’t got- don’t know if it makes the car say the right things about you?!

Does not really bother me, its just a colour, ran the 911 yellow calipers but with steel brakes, I just dislike red calipers which is why on all my cars I've always got rid and pretty much gone yellow on all my cars, only left red when on a red car. But I am going to ask the guy painting them if he can get the Jaguar firesand orange, that way it keeps it Jaguar throughout, though maybe the firesand is a bit too copper influenced and could just look dirty.

The Focus ST orange is at least quite a nice bright orange but without being neon, maybe see if I can get a photoshop done on both focus ST and firesand orange. The advantage of orange as other has said it is the natural colour to go with blue and it will also match red wheel centres and it would be totally unique.

Just tried to do this but they looked extremely similar in photoshop. Any chance you could get an RGB/HEX Colour code for something along the lines of what you'd like? :)

OK thanks buddy, let me go find some better images and see if my mate who is gonna do the painting has the colour or paint codes. He is doing these for me next Wednesday and then in a few weeks he is doing the M3's but going to leave them with the original alcon yellow or go porsche yellow as the porsche yellow is actually a nicer deeper yellow.

Will post some images up later for you to edit when you get some time. Also thank you for sorting this for me, you ever need something from ocuk as a thank you, I can sort nice discounts. :)

Some of the f types with yellow have also had a broad yellow on the lower part of the mirror cap which ties together nicely.

That was a storm grey one though.

I've seen that, think I also spotted one where a part of front grill was yellow too, it looked really smart.

Could not fit the 5mm spacers, as then lose the hub centre so skipped them, too risky. The Michelins fill the arches a touch better anyway, they just seem chunkier sidewalls. Totally amazed at the wet grip and predictability now!

OK being looking at oranges, the ford one is nice as out of direct light its orange and in sunlight its still orange though albeit more yellow. Failed to find a hex or rgb code though, just paint code, but here is a good link of lots of examples:

Could you photoshop that colour or best match to my images below please and also make the Jaguar text black:
