Photoshop request thread.

I don't get pleasure from bad things happening to other people, so I tend not to take into account the fact that many people do. I know that they do, but I don't understand why and I'm glad I don't.
It's not bad things - it's part of the fun.

"I know this is gonna get some hilarious results," said the OP. I'm sure he wants the pics done correctly but, frankly, I'd imagine he (and most photoshop OPs) would be disappointed not to get some funnies. I mean, who wouldn't want to see their pooch 'shopped into a hot dog?

Aw now, you know what I mean. When someone who hasn't been around long enough to know better asks for a photoshop and gets confused by the results, you don't find that funny?

That's right - I don't find that funny. Why would I find something unpleasant happening to someone else funny? Not by default, anyway. I might find it funny if I was very hostile to the target, especially if the unpleasant thing happening to them was something they'd done to other people (e.g. a burglar being burgled), but I find it rather disturbing how many people gain pleasure from unpleasant things happening to people they're not hostile towards, even random strangers they don't know.

Can confirm I did thoroughly enjoy seeing my doggo become a hot doggo.

These are brilliant guys :D

Well, each to their own I guess. I enjoy a sense of schadenfreude from time to time, although cruelty and bullying are a different thing of course.

Was your enjoyment ruined by the fact that the hot dog image was posted after an image that did what you asked for?

That's what's being argued about - the order.

I'm glad that's settled then and you are happy.

/thread I guess. Nothing to see here guys.

If you look at old photoshop request threads the amusing photos would roll for ages before someone posted a real response - but they almost always got a good response anyway. It breaks the flow of the thread when we've got a proper response quick - it also usually means the last the OP will visit the thread, so it dies much faster.

There's a lot of rules on OCUK, this was one of the few really reliable amusing thread types normally.

Come on, it hardly qualifies as 'hostile', 'unpleasant' or a 'bad thing'.

It's a photoshop image, it's not real you know ?
