Physically aligning monitors at different angles

Hi all,

I have a very weird quandary. I have a 2 monitor setup, namely a 27inch Dell (2715H) and a 27 inch iMac.

Because I'm a bit unusual, I don't like to sit straight on towards my monitors, so rather than having them literally side by side and straight, I have one straight and one on a bit of a pivot.

However no matter how hard I try, I can't get them to align neatly, one will look almost leaning compared to the other, whereas I'd like the bezel of each to meet and line up neatly, so there is no gap between them. See pic below for how my set up annoying looks.

Am I missing some laws of physics, or do others also have this issue? :D

Cheers

They need to be level so stick a spirit level on top (or a phone running a spirit level app). The display on the right

The also need to be perfectly vertical i.e. the top edge shouldn't be leaning towards or away from you compared to the bottom edge.

I've got two 24" 16:10 displays and a 27" 16:9 display that all align together well enough.

It's simply minor variations in the designs meaning that either one, or both, are not perfectly level. It's not something you would ever notice in isolation but when they are pushed up you get that effect in your image.

I've found in the past that sometimes a bit of "brute force and ignorance" can solve it. In short, just push the bases a little bit closer together to "force" the gap closed. IT shouldn't need much force and over time the fact you are essentially pushing the tops together will make it fix itself.
