ive just bought a physx card for 20 pound, what do you rate the card ?

Great if you have PPU games a waste of time if you dont have PPU games.

http://www.ageia.com/physx/titles.html see how many games on the list you plan to get. That should help you make up your mind to keep it or sell it.

Crysis doesn't use a physx card.

Build your machine on the week of release then. Don't build a PC for a game thats not released. Remember Doom 3?

DX10 and a whopping great big DX10 capable graphics card. Personally I would not be holding my breath for PhysX games. Problem is that it is rapidly becoming old tech but for £20 you may have actually hit the acceptable price range for it

Sell it on Ebay, make a good job and you should bring in about £140. Put that in a high interest account, and then buy yourself a nice new piece of hardware when Crysis of Unreal3 comes out

It slows some of them down. Does that count?

The big one will be UT2007, if that makes good use of it then I reckon they'll sell a few. At the moment though there's nothing out there that I own, or am tempted by that puts it to good use.

It's an over hyped and over priced pcb, not a magic lamp.
