Hi there, I've probably missed something really simple here but since updating driver's, PhysX has disabled it's self.

I've been poking around in there mate (Been ati for yrs so its a bit new), The only physx related option I can find is 'select a physx processor' and its on auto, with the other 2 options being '580' and 'cpu'.

Other than that I cant see anything, Sorry to be a complete noob but could you direct me to where you mean.. :D

cheers

In that case not sure ! could be the driver is too new for GPU-z to recognise the settings

That is probably the case.

Best way is test it with a game benchmark like the batman benchmark, turn on and turn off physx in the drivers and see if it makes a difference to the benchmarks. Also you could try downloading one of Nvidia's physx demos, if it runs as it should means it's working and GPU Z is just not talking correctly to the drivers. Also make sure to have this installed:-

NVIDIA PhysX System Software
Version:
9.10.0513
Release Date:
2010.08.11

Yeah probable that the driver is too new for GPU-z to recognise it - that PhysX box should be ticked even if you disable PhysX in the drivers as its just a marker as to if your GPU supports it or not, not if its enabled.

I'll download a nv physx demo and see how that works out, My physx driver is Version:
9.10.0514 and I'm on the 280.26 beta drivers so it probably is that.

thanks.
