Hey guys, what is all this PhysX processing malarchy?

If i am right it looks like you can get a new card I.e. a 280 GTX and use an old card I.e. 8800 GT as a physX processor in order to take some load off of the 280 GTX?

Am i totally on the wrong path?

Can anyone open my eyes to this mumbo jumbo? :P

Yep, thats about right. :)
However there are no games which currently push a card like the 280 to the limits and is Physx enabled... (Could be a while too)

You don't need a second card - it can be performed on your primary GPU. All games that use PhysX run fine with the same GPU running both the graphics and PhysX.
