Creating an entire image of your SD card can be really useful on Raspberry Pi. The system and your data are on this little piece of plastic, which isn't the safest :).In this tutorial, I'll
If using Windows, then Win32 Disk Imager - creates a 1:1 (xGB SDCard generates a xGB image file) image of a drive and you write that back to the drive (or another drive).
So i used win32 disk imager to read my sdcard and make an image, then i wrote the said image to another sdcard the same size etc to see if the process worked. The write completes but when i put the card into the pi it just sit's there on a red light no flickering green activity
light from the pi.
i am doing this on windows 11 home and the pi is a 3b+
Update, just booted direct into the pi desktop and used the sdcard copier in that and it worked a treat.
