Pic..Vinnie Jones as The Juggernaut

Yeah he dont quite do it for me but perhaps thats cos we seen him too much in xmen, apparantly vinnies not too pleased with the film since he barely spoke in it.

What did he expect?

To be honest they need someone of Michael Clarke Duncan's stature or bigger.

Unfortunatly he has been cast as the Kingpin in another Marvel film, so bit of a no no there.

The thing is Marko (Juggernaut) is actually Professer X's half brother, so I wonder if they will run with that or just do what they have been doing so far, by going of in some stupid direction

IMO some one like that wrestler Brock Lesner, would have been more suitable, or Mickey Rourke from Sin City would have been better ;)

It's simply the voice that worries me. Hell, with modern special effects and make up they could make me look the part.
Wouldn't go that far.

True. Vinny's a lot harder.

Not sure I believe that. Look at his part in Gone in 60 Seconds.

He only got the part because the original director (english amateur, can't remember his name) is a mate of his :(

I don't think it's a big deal since the X-men movies will never have the charm of the animated show or the comics anyway, look at Wolverine - he's a 6'3 brute with no agility and a soft side, or Halle Berry as Storm - terrible! Hopefully the screenplay and Magneto will remedy the third :)

I agree.

Wasnt the whole point of Juggernaught supposed to be.....once he started, there was nothing that could get in the way or stop the Juggernaught?

That picture doesnt reflect that to me.

That is until he meant Onslaught, who had a little "playtime" with him and actually made him CRY :) also, Gladiator from the Shi'ar empire can pound him for free... He is basically unstopable though apart from a few people that can slow him down. Pshychics such as Charles or Jean can punish him if his helmet is removed.

Pretty much, the only person I really dislike is Magneto in the movie. They chose the wrong person... Magneto should be a little younger looking, and more muscle bound. he is about 6'1 or '2 in the comics...

Spoken like a true fan. :D

......looks like I have found a buyer for my early X-men comic collection. :p

I been an xmen fan for a long time I have to admit, and I was very disappointed with their choice for Magneto, since he is my fav character in the comics.

Truthfully though, Juggernaught is an awesome powerhouse, and to any non comic fan I might have made him sound a tad weak. He really will pwn mostly everyone, but then most of the people in the movies are weaker than they are in "reality"

Storm can basically destroy the planet with weather if she lets herself really go, Magneto is virtually limitless in terms of power... he also is missing his "Magnetic forcefield" which is pretty much unbreakable, and surrounds him literally like a bubble. Rogue is far to young in the film for when she actually met the xmen, and if she has even half the powers in the comics will pretty much own most people.

Jean on the otherhand, I cant talk about... for those who read comics you will know why... ;)

I recall an episode where a wimp because super strong and I was under the impression (faded memory) that juggernaut's suit was the secret to his strength... Please help me out, it's driving me nuts :)

There was an episode, in the Animated Series (the one in the 90's) that Juggernaught had his powers drained by another regular person who found the Cytorak crystal. He eventually got his powers returned by the xmen as he was dying.

I think it also happened in the comics once or twice also, in the end he threw the crystal in to outer space so that he could never have them removed again.
