in all fairness most people do use their laptops along with their desktops running

Yeh 20" Dell, 2007WFP got it last thursday and its amazing! Great for My mac PowerMac G5 and PC.

I had one and I just took it down the tip after about a year, they just start falling to bits, very poor welds and strength, they're a pig to keep clean and you need to pull off all the glass to clean it properly.
They look great at first, but don't do it

Had it for about 2-3 years without a problem. Flash multisurface wipes keep it clean with little effort!

After less than a year mine had lost it's strength and was rickety, no amount of tightening up solves that.
The two plates either side of the bottom strut had fallen out on both parts of the desk, the glass attracted dirt and stains like nothing, and dirt was always getting stuck down the sides of the glass and under the metal in the corner pane.
The suckers to hold the glass in on the corner pane are a poor design as well, if there is to much weight to the back of it, the sucker at the front has enough give to raise the front of the glass up before the flared end of the sucker stops it.
I did eat my dinner and pratically do everything at mine, it's just not built to take any abuse.
