pice.2 slowing system

i have just dropped the hammer on a second R9-280x. i have just found out my motherboard is 2 x pcie 2, when i though it was pcie 3.

with my spec in sig, with running 8x 8x pcie 2 badley slow my system.

I will be gonging lintel some time after November but for now do i need to get a new motherboard

I don't think that there are any pci-e 3.0 AMD boards. I just looked at the top 990 chipset boards on Asus, MSI and Gigabytes website and they are all pci-e 2.0 by the looks of it. Surely that can't be right though? Maybe I have it wrong?

There is a ASUS one, think its a Sabertooth R3.0 or something like that?

with pcie 2 having reduced bandwidth should i use a crossfire bridge
