I am not sure on the Evga PSU. There an unknown brand to me when it comes to the Power supplies, so will have to look at some reviews about them. In the past I have always used Corsair, but they have taken a nose dive in recent months. Super Flower seems to be the popular choice at the moment and there is a lot of positive feed back.
The EVGA Supernova G2 850w is basically a Superflower Leadex 850w that Superflower has built for EVGA. It's much cheaper and has double the warranty so it's a win win situation.
With regards to Devils canyon, it should be June 2nd and Hexus reports some retailers as listing them and the anniversary pentiums so i doubt they have been delayed.
***Edit*** Strike that, have a read of the link in Stulids post below.
Just saw that in the Devils canyon thread. I suppose it makes sense as Haswell has been out less than a year and they probably want to shift more of them first. Same with Broadwell. Christmas was just too soon to the Haswell refresh release.
One good thing to come out of this is that I may hold onto the top i5 scores in the Cinbench thread for a bit longer.
Seriously...what the hell is the purpose of "paper-launch" anyway? Spread misinformation and trapping potential customers with new motherboard, and then force them to cave in and buy old CPUs (and the crappy TIM application can be considered a design flaw in the first place)?
To be honest, I am thinking now of buying a few of the items now that I can possibly use in my old system and buy the rest at a later date.
I don't think there is any point in buying a new mobo and memory, if the new Devils canyon core's aren't being made available till September, but still hoping it's June
