Mate it was a suggestion and a point of view/opinion, I am letting OP make up his own mind. Of which in that case if you're so adament to let him do so then it is better that he see's other peoples opinions so that he makes a greater informed choice.
Furthermore just because he's gaming doesn't mean he can't benefit from the onboard GPU anyway. And as OP isn't purchasing a SSD and is waiting to buy a better GPU later on I assumed he wouldn't be buying a SSD for his OS drive anytime soon. What some people will be doing however, and maybe even myself, is get a Z68 and a small SSD where it's not worth using as an OS drive and instead use it to cache to speed things up a bit more.
And I agree there is more likely to be a premium on the Z68 rather than P67's dropping in price. This is illustrated where I say:

At the end of the day it still couldn't do any harm to wait a few days to see what exactly does happen. But as he has already ordered that is now irrelevant and he will just have to wait and see.
