You're correct not to skimp on the psu
While it may be more than you require at 750w
Nowadays a psu with 10 year warranty is a basic requirement
To me anyway
10 year warranty shows faith in their product
Almost any aftermarket cooler from thermalright if available in nz
Great price and great performance
Most coolers have videos on how to install available
It's pretty basic diy to be honest
Even ones with custom backplate are pretty low
On my how hard is it out of 10 scale
And if it doesn't come with the thermal paste applied
Just use a bit of card, plastic etc
And spread a very thin layer on the bottom of the heatsink
Similar to what bundled coolers have
Or used to have since I haven't used a bundled cooler in donkeys years
That way rules out the how big a blob should I put on the cpu
And usually the cooler comes with some thermal paste
Though worth double checking that
Nothing worse than all ready to build
Only to find out you have no thermal paste
