wyrdo said:Well, apparently the legit one is called Picoo Z which is made by Silverlit.
I have one which is a Pico Z and as far as I can tell is identical though I'll check the packaging when I get home.

If I decide to buy one (still mulling it over) I'd practice on grass I think.ElRazur said:Thanks. I think am better off doing my practice on a simulator first. Crashing it the first time would hurt.![]()

I take it you have a dual analogue joystick and/or TX that will attach to your PC then?ElRazur said:All my crashes have been on grass field. The temptation is to try and do something silly like a flip or give it a full throtle in whilst heading towards me - this creates confusion and oreintation could be easily lost.![]()
There is a hobby shop in Bromley, i would be visiting to get the simulator cd. I would advise you to get one - check out the UK sale price against that of the US and you would see how much savings you are making.

Driven yes, flown, no.ElRazur said:I read somewhere that any pc controller would work but it would be better to use the real thing, there is a cable (usb?) that allows connection of the analogue controller to the pc iirc. To answer your question, i dont have one but the shop would sort me out hopefully.
Have you ever flown any thing r/c before?
PiKe said:Hmm...
Thanks for the inquiry. We can send that to you for approximately $45.00 in total shipping charges. This is just a quote and the exact charges cannot be determined until after the order is actually packed up and ready to be shipped.
Yep, as I said, it looks like it's $7.99 + standard usps rate.ElRazur said:Same place? I opt for the international airmail delivery instead.

Well I'll await your reply before I place my order.ElRazur said:The final price i told you earlier was what left my account. I have emailed them to confirm, dont want any nasty surprises![]()
Hi Brian,
Is that the absolute least you can ship the model for?

Yes it is. Fedex International would be more expensive.

I've read that training gear is a hinderence, amplifying the ground effect.saitrix said:Which simulator you getting?
Depends on the one and the controller. If it is a cheapo transmitter, which it will be, then I seriously doubt it will be possible to connect it to the pc.
Does it come with a training gear for it? If so then use it, if not, get one.
