Wonder if it would clean baking trays?
Im guiessing it just superheats the liners and doesnt really heat the entire cavity?

A friends mum has had a Gaggenau oven that does this for quite a while.

Not cleaned my oven since moving in (from new), 2 years ago doesn't get that much use tbh!

I remember moving into a place which had a disgusting oven once, straight on the phone to the landlord.
Previous tennants were there 7 years, I cannot imagine they cleaned the oven in all that time, in the end just replaced it, it wouldn't come up clean.

Aww just had a talk with smeg, the oven I was looking at isnt pyrolytic, just has "easy clean" cavity. Oh well theres a chunk saved

No it heats up the entire oven, also due to the extreme heat the door locks shut.
I can leave the roasting tin in that came with the oven but I wouldn't leave anything else in.

Sounds cool, was just thinking for that baked on grease that all trays seem to end up with. Go on nuke something lol, however don't be blaming me if something goes boom

Had one of these in my tiny studio flat/bedsit thing.
Did nothing but set off the smoke alarms, really... Didn't help that there was no instructions, even on the mainstream mfr's website...

When they go wrong, and they do, it isn't a pretty sight.
