Some new goodies to install on my car when the weather picks up :)

The old work shoes (top) lasted 2 solid years and travelled half the World with me. Considering they cost £30 from TKMaxx I have to give them credit for being so tough. I went back to see if they had my size but they didn't so I looked online and these were being sold by an ebay store for £30 too.

Would not hesitate to recommend this brand at all.

Lol kickers:o I used to wear those for school when I was 11, times have moved on, plenty of nicer brands like base London, Paul smith, not sure if rock port still do flat loafer style shoes, yeah ok they are meant to for work but a lot nicer around for under £90. Never got more than 12 months from kickers either, all IMO:)

Out with the old, in with the new :)

You must feel like a boss strutting through the school gates.

I spend most of my time between servers, network cabinets and playing with software so spending up to £90 on shoes for work isn't logical.

Yeah they're Kickers but hey, they last me ages, I'm not exactly putting heavy weight on them for starters :p And they're also comfortable.

Buying more expensive shoes also won't get me a bigger wage packet at the end of the month ;)

I did in fact shop around for shoes in London last week and while I found quite a few I liked, none of the designs took my fancy. I could not find anything in similar design to my old Kickers, most of the shoes I saw had longer fronts that slim out. I do not like that at all, prefer a flat faced shoe that has flex for when I'm on my knees....

....assembling hardware.

Trifid, what make/model are those? That's the kind of design I have no problem with. Could do with smart brown shoes too to go with some of my lighter coloured formalwear!

Yeah they are long but I love them, so thick and warm for lounging on the sofa. No slippers required! Both are size large, I'm 5'11" so I didn't expect them to be quite that long but they're keepers anyway as they keep my feet warm.

PS can anyone spot the box of tissues? :o
