Piers Morgan vs Alex Jones: Guns

That accents video is amazing. Maybe he's actually a comedian and this is all really, really clever? :p

I remember randomly coming across this one years ago, looks like he hasn't changed at all, you'd think he would have learned by now, skip to 06:30 for the best bit... :p

I love how the deport Piers petition disregards the 1st Amendment because of someone 'attacking' the 2nd amendment.

I have read something saying that the constitution doesn't really apply to non-citizens and what Piers is saying technically comes under the category of political espionage (the right to bear arms). If he went on Saudi TV and said that women should have equal rights he'd have been hanged by now.

It doesn't really apply or it doesn't at all?

The difference between Saudi Arabia and the US is that the US is supposed to be one of the most powerful and developed countries in the world where as some of Saudi Arabia's believes are stuck in the dark ages.

Edit: As far as I can tell the Rights apply to anyone legally in the country. Anyone that say otherwise is probably just trying to justify why they've completed disregarded their oh so highly regarded freedom of speech.

I wonder if your London "yoof" type thinks the "right to bear arms" means they have the right to own 'lots of' guns (in as 'ya man, I got bare shoes in my wardrobe innit bruv')

Kinda like Alex Jones.

I think I saw a comment earlier in this thread from Kwerk saying that police officers should have their guns removed and people should carry the guns. That made me LOL as well.

I love how Alex Jones kept saying the republic will rise again. That is a dog whistle way of saying the south will rise again; remember he is from Texas.

I think what he means is the US was set up as a republic not the democracy it has become.

“The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money.” - Alexis de Tocqueville

and then it becomes a democracy.

"Well, Doctor, what have we got—a Republic or a Monarchy?"

"A Republic, if you can keep it." - Ben Franklin.

James Madison - “Democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property; and have, in general, been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths.”

John Adams - “Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide.”

It's all going to end in tears IMO.

It doesn't apply to CITIZENS either any more since NDAA. The president can and has ordered drone strikes (execution) on US citizens with out any kind of trial. Also indefinite detention without due process.
