Im having problems stopping pigeons eating the bird food that i put out for the garden birds and was wondering whats the best way to stop them, i thought about putting some sort of net round the table so only the small garden birds could get on it, i was also thinking of getting a air pistol but im not sure if its ok to shoot them? ive got a bb gun but i could fart with more power than that. any decent shops online to look at?

The pigeon is a noble creature and should be treated with utmost respect.

Maybe you should feed them properly before you try to feed their inferior winged brethren?

I can assure you, as a member of the Pigeon Liberation Front, should I hear of any harm coming to these majestic animals, you will feel the full force of the PLF.

PLF?.... Splitter! :p

Personally I'd throw both a smoke and a high flash then rush with the colt.

Laaaaaaawl :D

Or a sensible option of just letting them have it, they'll just break any sort of weak barrier.

constructing some sort of cage with reasonably small holes would prevent pigeons, but also any larger birds getting to the food
the only pigeon specific way is to sit and guard it - with your weapon of choice at the ready

Sadly they're protected under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 and only an authorised pigeon killer can remove them. However, there is proof that Iran use pigeons to transport biological and chemical weapons so it's up to you how you deal with this threat.

Viva la resistance!

A serious question: What exactly are the pigeons doing that is causing you problems?

I don't think there's a way to stop pigeons eating your bird food. It's kind of what happens when you put bird food out.

pidgeons were responsible for carrying the black plague.

they are rats with wings and I wouldn't go near them disease infested vermin.
