PiHole & Streaming services

Strangely, it seems from the rest of the comments, my PiHole seems to block the ads on all streaming services. I haven't done anything with it, just the initial set up, haven't even had time to look at it, the only reason I know it's even working is because I don't gets ads.
However, I watch stuff using my PC connected to my TV, not through apps on any device. So I guess maybe Firefox and PiHole are both doing some work there?

I'm in a stick-it-to-the-man kind mood, and right at the top of my petty list is streaming services which charge us to watch ads. As such I'd like to finally put this Raspberry Pi to use that's been in my drawer since the dawn of time, however I'm reading a lot of contradictive stuff online regarding whether it blocks ads or not, some are saying that the ads are served on the same domain as whatever you're watching rendering it pointless.

Anyone tried it?

Cheers :)
I have PiHole running for quite a while.
I did have issues with Prime, it would fail to load the advert and just hang for ages. I just had to whitelist some domains that were popping up.
My other streaming services don't have ads.
