Piledriver

Piledriver will be seen in two products this year:
1.)The first is Trinity which uses socket FM2 and is the successor to Llano. Lacks L3 cache. It will be released next month.
2.)The second is Vishera which uses socket AM3+ and is the successor to Bulldozer. Has L3 cache.It will be released in Q3 2012. Roadmpas already indicate this.

Steamroller is being released in 2013 AFAIK.

It's simply true, it's not like the GPU war, where they have genuinely been competitive with each other backwards and forwards. Intel have smashed AMD for the last few years across the board. AMD have only really been able to compete on providing a better cheap chip in recent years, and now a days intel beat AMD at every point.

Later this year.

-Resonant clock mesh
-10~15% IPC performance increase over BD
-20~30% Stock clock increase over BD (4Ghz +)
-Use less power
-Run cooler
-HD 7000 series IGP
-4 direct link DRR3 1866Mhz RAM

If that actually happens it should be a pretty good CPU
