Pillows - how many for you :p

I have 6 on my bed - i wriggle around a lot at night (....easy) and position them so no matter the chewing gum activity of my sleep, I still awaken with head atop duck!

Number of pillows isn't important to me, it's just about how high they are and they have to be relatively firm. I used to have two almost flat pillows, but now I use one that is the same thickness as both together.

2 to start off with to lie down and relax, but I sleep on my front and 2 just bends my neck up too much so I remove one after awhile which also has the added bonus of the coooool side of the pillow

2 normal pillows. 1 big one isn't the same. If I can't sleep I have a tendency to turn them over, same with my duvet. I like a cold blanket at night (unless it's really cold).

1 Big one, tried it with 3 random sized ones and only annoyed me.

1 big Goose feather pillow= :D.

Can put it vertical when watching tv, lay back a bit if I want it higher, or stay ''just on it'' when I want a thin pillow can even fold it double if I want it extra thick :D.

Me too, I can't stand blankets, at night they're always way too hot and I turn em over nonstop/ move my feet to a colder place in em.
Yet in the mornings, I'm always cold under em (or well, not in the summer, but in the fall, winter and spring yes) :(.

Can't stand rubbish foam though, foam collapses way too soon ( loved it at first, but was completely rubbish after 6 months of use) and cotton is just too hard.
Feathers f t w, they stay nice and soft yet not too soft like the collapsing foam for years, the pillow I'm using is one originally from my grandma.

Down feather is very nice too :), but it's been ages since I've had one, I destroyed one while I was De-dusting it too hard :(.

Other synthetics are usually too hard.

I have 3 on my bed, but I invariably end up using 2, though it doesn't feel "right" without the 3rd one - it's sort of there as a support I guess.

I sleep on 4 on the bed to start with. Straight away one gets pushed down the side and the other one goes by the window so when I wake up mid night, I have a nice cold pillow to lay on.

I signed for a package at my parents house once which wasn't even addressed to us, it was a pillow, had an invoice for £54.99 in it so I took it home. Its the best pillow ever, I wouldn't pay that though.
