Well, my mum and dad finaly had a BBQ tonight and they had made some Pimms. I loved it how the light was falling on the glasses so i thought that i'd take some pics. I've tried to make them look kind of like 'magaziney' shots. C&C welcome

This is a personal niggle but probably annoys another people aswell. I immediately become uninterested when seeing thumbails to HUGE images, especially imageshack hosted ones.
A resized and embedded image just makes viewing easier. Not a dig at you, just a general comment on photo posting

I had to download that image in order to view it in whole "its important people consider this when looking for feedback on imagary"
It doesnt do anything for me personally but I think if you had composed the shot having the work surface it is stood on flowing all the way back filling the background with no clutter it would be a fine drink picture (assuming it wasnt blurry of course)

Well it is in focus. Its just suffering from camera shake.
I don't want to sound rude or anything, so please don't take this the wrong way, but you should try experimenting with different exposure settings. Aperture, shutter-speed and light sensitivity (ISO number).
You've got some good equipment there, and I'm sure you can make much better pictures in the future with practice.
Asking for comments / criticism is a great way to help yourself to improve so posting the photo was probably a good thing, but on these forums, I think that people give far too much praise and are afraid to critisize incase of hurting someone's feelings.
Keep up the practice.
