The goo sorta sets and isn't very liquidy runny so it gives you time to turn it over and put it into place. Just used some of the goo to stick it together also.
 
I've been making filling easter eggs with choc rice krispies for years now, plus adding in things like smarties etc.

I've made a completely solid galaxy easter egg, as well as a chocolate orange one but they are too sickly which is what has put me off making a creme egg version. It looks good, but will destroy your stomach :p
 
Did you know those big bags of mini eggs actually have 45g of protein in them? I eat them as a post workout meal sometimes.
