Was simply going to ask a question but figured I will make this in to a bit of a discussion,
Which mouse and how precise do you find it in FPS games?
Isit your favoruite mouse (If not state which?)

Just wanted to get some advice as im needing a new one.

Razer Deathadder - Able to get much better rates of head shots on games like BF2/CoD since I replaced my old Logitech MX laser mouse.

My first gaming mouse was the logitech G5 which was an awesome mouse after a little getting used to. Once that had reached the end of its life I upgraded to a logitech G9 (not the 'x' revision) and after an inital settling period, it turned out to be fantastic to work with. If you have slightly larger than normal hands then you will find this mouse a little harder to use at first, but it is fantastic for precision gaming.

I've recently upgraded however to the RAT 7 and after some tweaking and playing around, this mouse is freakin sweet. I had to download a fix to remove the mouse acceleration from my registry as it was making it hard to aim at people in FPS games. This was due to people jumping out at me and I would spin around to shoot hem and would go WAAAAAY too far round.

Whatever your choice, please bear in mind that using a new mouse will feel like you are wearing someone elses trousers for a week or 2, push past that and actually experience the mouse before you decide its not for you.

Logitech G500 here, got it as a replacement for a G5. Very similair in shape to the G5, so i didnt need any time to get used to it. Definitely prefer the logitechs to other mice ive tried, great mouse for fps games.

R.A.T. 7 Absolutely Godly I found, then again upgraded from a cheapo mouse so yeah...

Love it for COD, don't like it so much on Crysis 2, but think that's a dislike of the Crysis 2 multiplayer anyway...

I used the Logitech G9 for a year and it died on me two days ago due to frayed wires. It was a fantastic mouse, sadly I couldn't get a replacement due to having no serial number of the product.

Ordered the MX518, it arrived a few hours ago, just played an hour or so of COD4 and it's on par with my G9, well done once again Logitech :)

I bought my G5 when my "Logitech Cordless Mouseman Optical" died and I wanted a 'gaming mouse' think that was about 7 years ago lol and the G5 is still working now - only the wheel is dying but that's no big issue yet..

When I upgrade, I'm torn between the G9x or the R.A.T 7 - I don't really wanna go down the cordless route as my three(tomorrow!) year old loves hiding things lol and I don't think I'd appreciate playing hide and seek with my new shiny R.A.T 9 lol
