Ping spikes in games

Recently I have started to have ping spikes in games which causes lag and it's quite annoying because it happens quite often now.

I am pretty sure it is an internet issue because it also messes up speech over Skype when I'm doing it at the same time and it happens over a variety of online games.

I've taken a screenshot of the router stats, maybe it shows something which can be changed to solve the problem. (Using a Netgear DG834GT with DGTeam 1012)

You running Vista and wireless and lag is consistently periodic?

Probably your WLAN card autpolling checking for new wireless connections. Try WLAN Optimizer or Vista anti-lag to resolve.

Do you have spotify running? this will periodically do bursts of internet activity even when idle (refreshing ads?).

Thanks for the replies.

On Windows 7 btw and tried WLAN Optimiser but it seem to help anything and I don't use spotify.
