pink girly phone

Hi guys.

Going to treat my gf to a new phone, cant remember the name of her last model, samsung D something. It was pink anyway.

Been looking at the J700 in pink, any good?

Her current one refuses to turn on/charge now.

Looks nice but can't really afford much over 60ish atm. Would also like to stick to Samsung as she is used to them.

I had a pink phone for a while, pink is my favourite colour.
Had a pink u600, good for anyone who doesn't go to many rock gigs.

I was in Orange today, they are selling their U600 as purple :confused:

I said its described as pink on the web, she said its more purple than a pink.

The handset she showed me was indeed purple.

So is there actually a proper pink version of this phone, or is it just purple and black as i was told by orange.

Its weird, because carphone warehouse website is selling it in pink on PAYG Orange. Yet when i went into the orange shop, they said its purple and black only.

I went into carphone warehouse shop and asked for the pink u600 on orange, they said there out of stock, which indicates that they DO come in pink :confused:

I'm just going to get it off carphone warehouse website. Days like this remind me of why i usually stick to online shopping instead lol

I spoke too soon.

Just got email saying my order is canceled because my card failed security check. WTF....over £200 in my account never had no problems in my life over money or my bank.

I phoned but they said they cant use my card again because its flagged in their system, i have to use another card (which ofc i dont have) or pay cash in store (which they dont have any stock of the u600)

I don't get it, they couldn't even tell me why its failed, just i can't use it again.

Can they do this? Im really annoyed. The e-mail said this in bold.

call the bank, they sometimes block payments that appear to eb different from your normal spending pattern.

Phoned bank, was on for nearly half an hour :mad:

they couldn't find any reason why it would flag up failing security checks. In the end i got cut off.

Phoned CPW again but got annoyed at them basically telling me to go to shop and pay cash instead, so said i wanted customer services. Finally someone who acted like he was interested. He took my order again on the phone and it went through fine.

Thank god for that. My first experience with CPW customer service and it wasnt very good :eek:
