Got a dodgy problem

i have 3 monitors

2powered by 7600GT, 1 powered by FX5200.

When windows first boots vid plays fine on everything, if i play a game on the 7600GT card video then plays with a pink tint, but fine on the FX5200 screen... unless i reboot then fine - only does it after ive played a game or something.

Any ideas?

/edit

Tried different drivers to, the current ones were fine before i recently formatted (the latest nvidia ones on the webby)

Bit of an obscuere question, but is your 7600GT made by Leadtek?

One of the RAMDACs on my Leadtek 7800GTX is fried and displays pink tinted images.. I just use the other one as I'm not really bothered about RMA'ing as it's not an issue because I only use one monitor...

If you wobble the dongle about (if you use one) does it go back to normal? If not then it maybe fried. :(

But wait for someone that knows a little more about it to comment before you go ahead and RMA.

It is...

Now its working fine on the 7600GT, and wierd colours on the FX5200...

Hmmm

Might change the drivers about tomorrow, cba right now lol

Hmm..

As I said, wait for someone else to post. If theres one thing I'm sure of, it's that OcUK will help you out, whatever the situation. ;)

So you just need to sit back, relax, and wait for an answer. :D

Does it on my 7800GT with video sometimes, regardless of what driver I use. If the tint is blue I can just open a video file in a diferent player and it will reset the codecs (I guess) and it works fine. If it is purple/pink I have to restart.

Oh damn.. What a noob I am.

I just remembered I had this and I fixed it..

Do you use Windows Media Player?

Well for those of you that suffer from pink videos in WMP, this is how I sorted it.

Select "Use high quality mode" rather than "Use overlays". Under video acceleration.

May not work for you but thats how I fixed it.

sometimes the gamma is set too high in the nvidia driver control panel.

so usually you have to open it then :

colour correction > change the slider under gamma to 1.00
