Pink Videos?

Used to happen with me and quicktime.

Not sure how I fixed it. Think it just did itself.

comp is gay lol

its a codec issue im guessing, usually i get lots of green crap when i got wrong codec. pink is first time i seen that.

I had this problem once - it was either a graphics driver or a Directx problem. Try re-installing your drivers

I had that but it would only happen if i had used steam before
and not rebooted so i think it has something to do with what steam is doing to codecs.
It's defo steam try see if you get without using steam at any time before playing a video.
Only fix i found was to reboot after using steam if i wanted to play video.
Was a 7600gt pci express overclocked btw i think it's steam and issues with certain cards
and it somehow messes it up.
