Saw a few reviews of this and it really peeked my interest. I was looking to replace my Saturn 3 (which to be honest prints excellently) with a Saturn Ultra 4 16K but there seem to be a lot of issues with it so I decided to wait. This has some interesting features and appears to produce some really good prints and doesn't seem to be completely tied into a proprietary ecosystem (ie you can use any resin)

So I've took a punt and backed it. Won't be here until July at the earliest. Has anyone else been tempted?

Yeah I backed it as well, pretty cheap for a KS printer with some new features.

Since resolution is kind of irrelevant since 8k screens, the silver bullet is now making them more user friendly; new release mechanisms and sensors, heating etc..

As for Kickstarter printers have backed a few others in the past but they can be hit and miss and almost always delayed, less of a concern this time when its like £300 rather than £1000 like some.

For me it's got most of the features that had tempted me to swap my Saturn 3 for a Saturn 4 Ultra which were heated VAT (the AFU for the Halot), Wifi, up and over lid, quick release, self-levelling (which actually works :) ) and faster printing. Only thing missing is a camera for monitoring but I can install my own. The print release mechanism is an added bonus.
