Pipe Key under Remote Desktop (Mac)

Guys,

Am rdp'ing into work from my Macbook and it works fine except all the keys move around...does anyone know where I find the pipe | key!!?

Could be around the ;'# keys, or /
Probably moved to the # key. Just press all keys and find out :P
 
The RDP protocol specifies a keyboard mapping for the session, make sure your client is using the mapping of the server, and all will be fine.
 
I don't see anywhere in the RDP client for mac that allows the changing of the keyboard layout. Have tried all keys in notepad once in windows both with and without shift...
 
Nope, sorry, that key doesn't do anything..., it's really annoying me now! It is indeed on the \ key but it doesn't translate like that when you are logged into a windows machine via remote desktop. Anyone know for certain!?
