Are you planning to use bards or compression fittings on your tube?

What - like Shakespeare?

You do know the X99 and ddr4 has little to no advantages over the z97 and ddr3 in 90% of games? Also unless your planning to go sli in the future a 600 W psu would do you much better than the 1kw one?

You do know this is overclockers.co.uk - not valuegaming.co.uk?

the majority of the time it will be editing photos, prob use compression fittings.

Ive read that you should use uncolourd water and coloured pipe not the other way round, does this make any difference?

yes less chance of gunk build up in the pipes and it water doesnt stain the blocks and therefore reduce resale value. I learned this the hard way. :(

Editing photos will easily be done on a i5 or i7. IMHO doesnt need a x99 rig but its your money in the end.

still think dumping the x99 and getting a i7/z97 with a 980 instead of a 970 would be a better bet.

Why wouldn't you want an X99 build!? Admittedly i wouldn't put a 970 into it but.. Personally i'd buy an AIO and stick a Titan X/980 in there with the money saved.

But on topic, I'm using 16/11 In my first loop. As recommended by someone ages ago.
