Anybody like the Piri Piri marinade sauces by Nandos? Absolutely love them!!

Right, I have one chicken boob in my fridge and i've added some marinade. I'm going to eat the fiend tonight.

What/how do you use the marinades? The trouble is you see, is that whenever I use them I can't seem to cook it correctly. Either the chicken cooks fine, but the marinade is burnt to the pan, or the chicken never cooks and the marinade has been under heat for so long that it starts to form odd layers!! I can't do it! Erm, help?

Thought that said "Piri Piri Spice" and was expecting a picture of a new spicegirl :(

Thread does not deliver

i have the exact same problem! it always get stuck to the pan when i try to cook it with a light bit of oil

I love piri piri sauce, and I hate the fact there's no nandos anywhere near me. :(
Although at least I can order all the sauces online.

Piri Piri Sauce R O C K S :D

I'm not a fan of tabasco (don't like the taste), but I love the Hot Piri Piri Sauce... :)

The Nando's BBQ Ketchup with PiriPiri is nice with chips etc.

The basic sauce goes lovely with tuna mayonaise..... mmmmmmm in thick doorstep sandwiches.... mmmmm.

theres only one way to cook ANYTHING properly (well two, but you have to take off and use orbital weapons the other way)

AND YOU KNOWS IT!

I was severely disappointed with Nando's Piri Piri Ketchup. Not spicy enough...saying that, i haven't tried the actual Piri Piri.

It's all so expensive for what it is to.

Hot Pepper Sauce for the (82p) win. :p

What a co-incidence. Read this thread in the morning at work, went to Sainsbury's after and just nipping away from the counter to get some olive oil that I forgot, I saw a jar of this on the shelf. Remembered the thread and promptly picked one up! I'll have to see how it goes :D

You can get it from Tescos, no need to order it from Nandos directly.

We always have a couple of bottles of the sauce in the kitchen, as we're Nandos nuts!

Nandos and nados sauces = the WIN!!!!!!!!111111111

Chicky boob cubes = marinade as youve done BUT either stir fry on a low heat till cooked keeping sauce non-burnt OR coat the marinaded cubes in some flour, and stir fry in a little oil so the outside slightly browns/crisps.
If the oven is weapon of choice then put in an oven dish and cover in foil then remove foil 5 mins before end to brown em. Same goes for a non cubed boob if in the oven.

Perry.

Nando's Piri Piri is nothing like that I've ever had while in Portugal.

Its still nice though :D Theres a Nando's just down the road, might have to go tomorrow :D
