I've recently started playing a great deal of online poker, mainly through PKR, however i'm wondering whether someone can help me out on a little query.

What regulation if any is in place to make sure the deals are done randomly and fairly

It just seems that the weirdest results come out sometime. The other week there was three of us left. We had AA, KK, QQ and the flop was AKQ. Everybody was allin. The river was another Q. I don;t even want to try and calculate the odds of that happening (I had KK btw and thought I was onto a winner :()

This is more what I was getting at, 9 times out of 10 if I go all in with a QQ or KK, someone will call it with something low like a 5 7, 9 8...something along those lines and they alway get trips. I've literally counted these occurances and it is a percentage of 90% and higher.

If you said specifically " in the next four hands I will be dealt 44 then 22 then 44 then 33 " then it is 2385443281/1. A specific pair is 221/1 so 221^4.

If you said " I will be dealt 4 pairs in the next 4 hands " then it is I think 17^4 = 83521/1.

Truth is you didn't do either of those things, you observed it after it had happened. So it isn't really /1, people like yourself are always looking for 'anomalies' and then report them as if they are something spectacular. Truth is they are nothing more than random chance.

The classic case is being dealt AA twice = 48841/1. Your only ever really looking for this is after you've been dealt aces the first time so it's more like 221/1.

Never thought about it as an after the fact thing, glad you pointed that out as it can't be a xxxxx/1 occurance.

However on the subject of AA, I think I see that pair come up at least 4 out of every 5 games.

Nope, I primarily play 1 on 1 heads up speed games, $5/$10 in, $10/$20 to the winner. The normally don't go beyond around 10-15 hands. Also with these games I find I win around 8 out of 10 games as opposed to winning 1 in about 5 tournaments.
