Plain Sight

it's a superb indie game and for £7.99 you can't go wrong, do it !!

Plain Sight is a multiplayer arcade game about suicidal ninja robots.
Fly through space, leap over planetoids and destroy opponents with your trusty katana.
Killing fellow robots lets you steal their tasty, tasty energy. Packed with spinach-like goodness; energy makes you bigger, stronger, faster and generally more awesome.
Being all big and badass is great, but in this game it doesn’t win you the match. It makes you a target.
To win, you have to convert your energy into points…
How do you do this? Simple. Kill yourself.

your basically a robot with a sword, you run and jump around trying to kill other players (or bots) by either locking on to them then charging when close enough OR you detonate yourself !! thats basically it.

theres dedicated servers for upto 20 people and tons of game modes, upgrades and maps...theres a great mode Ninja! Ninja! Botzilla whereby one player becomes 'Botzilla' (a massive robot with a Godzilla hat on and flaming aura) then everyone has to attack it as a team.

the controls are quite simplistic and easy to get to grips with and once your familiar with the 360 navigation and mavity effect its fast and fluid.

OK just hit the purchase. Basically the game involves you controlling your ninja robot with wasd keys. Left mouse button builds your energy up/targets your opponent and releasing it shoots you at him/her, you hit it's a kill and you gain his energy. e Explodes. You can repel by building energy up and firing when he goes for you. Various powerups exist. Very straight forward. Certainly for the money worth it and graphics/music are great.

At the moment I see this as a game which can fill in my gaming gaps but the practice game was a lot of fun.

it's an indie game so it wont be competing any maintstream releases but it defo is a compelling addictive multiplayer game. Dedicated servers mean its fast and fluid with no lag and there's a lot of depth in the gameplay and sneaky ways to kill people.. defo worth the price

Bought it this morning, shame it doesnt work on my netbook, will check it out when I get back home :)

I've been thinking about buying this for a while - this thread has swung my decision *purchases*

I'll be pretending that I'm a ninja version of GIR I think

I need to play it a bit more, it looks a bit quick to be able to get an angle on actual teamplay - although I might be wrong there - need to play it more. Very original and much easier to get into than the video suggests - although I suspect it will be one of those games that is easy to play - hard to master :) Once I have played more i'll post further
