Can your company shares perform a little better please.

Thanks

:D
Tell me about it... :(

To be fair, when you look at it objectively it's difficult to justify a $350+ share price based on the current earnings/ratios. However the long term growth potential is enormous and the product itself is pretty unique/compelling when compared to the competition (both 'legacy' databases + the Cloud Service Provider-native offerings). I'm intending to hold onto my shares for the long-term.

From what I've seen, theres a lot of interest in ********* but quite often companies need to sort out some legacy point solutions first to be able to reap the benefits of a data lake/warehouse. I can see adoption increasing prettying quickly in the finance sector especially with the secure data share. That's been something a lot of companies are interested in

So i've just been on the receiving end of some redundancies for the place i'm at so i'm currently out of work. Having read about what SE's can earn without any real need for the technical knowledge side of things is quite startling to me and is something I want to explore more. I have enough experience of pitching to high ups from my life working in digital agency and feel comfortable with that side of things, and think I can pick up the technical side of it on the job. Where are these roles and how do I apply as I definitely feel like this could be a legit avenue for work?!

< ^ Experienced cyber SE here recently made redundant due to region being shut down and looking for next role.

Just leaving that one there for anyone who might be interested
I know a university that will pay you to do a phd in that area. They will pay your phd giving you 25k wage plus extras, I guess they would stear your research topics in areas of interest.

They get the funding from companies in that area.

Thankfully started a new role last week, slight change from being an SE (which I've done for 10 years or so) so will see how it goes...

Has the SE market dried up?
I wouldn’t say so, there’s definitely stuff out there and was having a lot of conversations with people.

But for me things were taking too long and I got approached about this role and it seemed interesting, working with some really good people, so thought would give it a go.

Hopefully you didn't have to take a pay cut!

Nice, I asked because I don't many it jobs paying 250 plus. Apparently the going rate for an SE with 10yr exp.
If it was a good year maybe ;)

Saw one of the recruiters post this up the other day, from a base salary pov I’d say it was reasonably accurate.

Well on 120k base that’s likely 50k commission to make up your OTE, so just do 260% of target and you’re there
