3rd rock...
A first-hand view of a plane crash. And also a lesson in poor flight management. BTW all the people survived and are in good shape.

*Dont* skip ahead. Watch the whole thing because you will be amazed at the CHANCES the pilot had to abort. But he just kept going.

I'm listening to that stuKa and shouting Dagga Dagga Dagga Dagga :D

Haha I know you all wanna get to the smash but...its important you watch this from the start...because you will sit there SHOCKED.

Pilot had SO MANY chances to abort...but nope...he just kept trying when physics was saying NO NO NO.

It was too heavy according to the comments. I would have thought the guy would have aborted at V1.

After taking off we hit an air pocket that made us rapidly loose altitude, pushing us down into the trees.

You do realise that stuka sound has been ripped from Pink Floyd's The Wall?, you can even hear an organ and the drums, they've also made a mess of the end by splicing in a sound clip from what sounds like a war movie.

V1 :p

It's a light aircraft on a grass runway, V1 doesn't exist. It's a 4 seater with 3(?) people inside. Apparently it was to do with atmospheric conditions. A jumbo won't fly at 100k, doesn't mean it's too heavy ;)

The pilot could have turned around but there was no guarantee the turn wouldn't have made the plane sink anyway. Doomed from the get-go unfortunately.

It's not artificial as in "made up for ww2 films".

It was engineered to make that noise to scare the **** out of the people getting bombed.

It's just a single frequency siren but it's on a plane so it gets the red and blue shift effects. Like how you can tell if an ambulance is coming towards you or away from you due to the change in pitch rather than sound or volume.

Wierd video. I mean the guy filmed the injured at the end, I'm sure if I crashed in a plane, I'd forget about the camera =\

You're not good in high intensity situations then? They were just standing about anyway why shouldn't they pick up their cameras?
