But yeah, they happen everywhere. Bit unfair calling their countries crap too, the planes come from everywhere.

Seven survivors. Very, very lucky.

LOL well it is very lucky that there were 7 survivors...good on the villagers for helping out as well. Obviously not a pretty sight if your the first on the scene.

Actually India has a relatively good aviation safety record.

Also they have an airline called Jet Airways that is one of the best airlines I have ever flown on. Smart crew, smart FAs, brand new jets. Far better than our joke airlines. Experienced a ride on them when I visited Singapore.

These kinds of accidents can happen anywhere. The airplane doesnt care where it is or whose flying it. Its a heavy price we sometimes pay for taking to the skies.

Mostly in poorer countries and from older planes.
