I read the story, linked to another related crash in canada, then to operation yellow ribbon on wiki which was related to the crash in canada, then to semptember 11 attacks (which operation yellow ribbon was apart of) and then to department of homeland security. This airport was on a program called top ten most dangerous airports or something.

Basically there is a nightmare approach.

A short runway that if you don't touch down at the right mark you may as well abort the landing.

At the end of the runway is a ditch which had a dual carriageway.
