Planet Crafter

Grabbed this before a long haul flight last year and played a few hours on the Deck.

Was enjoyable, but like most games like this, you’re not going to get addicted until you’ve got a bit further into the game.

Sure I’ll revisit on another flight soon and see if it gets its hooks into me!

I'm 40 hours on and it's just getting better.

Edit:

I won't put spoilers, but I was getting to a stage where it started to get a little stale plus inventory management was just a drag.

Then you unlock certain stuff and it's a game changer now I have so much I need to do.

"are you one of us?"

im having a tad break from it, i need to get resources and explore again now some of the caves have opened.

i also need to get some explosives as im next to 2 locations i want to explore.

ive tried not to cheat but aluminium was causing some issues and i looked at a wiki a little.

map markers would be good but thats what beacons are for!

i think my biggest issue is wreck exploration and needing more space and oxygen tanks. - missing some upgrades.

rover steering is a bit janky :/

am working towards rocket gps 2 and maps 2 + ore miner 2

then work on a field of pressure power / heat and biomass

Once you get to an Oxygenated planet it becomes a lot easier. It's not a bad game, the DLC though is not the greatest so I'd just stick to the base game.

I've 'completed' it with all the endings and had fun doing so but it is quite short. I know they changed a lot in the latest patches and I've been back in to see what has changed but it's not enough to make me go through it all again.

I bought the Planet Humble and Toxicity DLCs for around the price they're at now. Well worth it. Had a lot of fun in almost 300 hours of gameplay.

I like Humble better, but Toxicity was still good and added a new feature. At those prices it's mainly worth it just to support the devs.

I’m the other way round from you. I liked Toxicity more than Humble.
I got a bit burned out with looking for materials quite far in to Toxicity though. Giving it a small rest for a while, before I go back to finish it off.
