unfortunately to get the free year you would have to regsiter a new e-mail address and start a new account, I believe. You would then start from stratch and only be allowed to get to a certain BR, 8 or so.

You would not be able to play free on your existing account
 
I just want to bump this thread to make sure everyone has had a chance to take a peak! I've seen a couple of old OcUK players coming back so it's a good sign.
 
Werner pops are actually quite good ATM, can't wait to see what this does (2.5 year veteran here BTW :) )

There is a nice selection of outfits as well depending on the lvl of play you like, ranging from zerging around to dedicated spec ops (especially on TR)

I can only recommend everyone tries it at least once, and don't quit untill you have at least gotten yaself into an outfit :)
 
BR8 will limit you a bit. Basically at any given time you will be stuck with one playstyle. Grunt, Tank Driver, Infiltrator Hacker etc etc. You won't have enough certs to pack too many options. But the cert timer is down to 6 hours now so it is a lot easier to realign your character than it was before.
 
I used to play on Werner right back when it was in beta, was in TR (red ones right?) and called Gooner. Think i've still got the cd somewhere, can i just reinstall and activate my old account for free? What about all the add-ons?
 
Yes, if you have previously paid for a subscription your subscription should have been activated free of charge. You may need to send them an e-mail if you were only beta tester.

TR are the red ones, yes! :D
 
Aye i guessed that, in the middle of it now. IIRC i had a BR15 blokey with advanced hacking, AMS, the weap that locked on to vehicles and advanced engineering. Not sure if i had any more.
 
Things have changed quite a lot since you've been back btw. Auraxis is no more etc.
I will be on later tonight so if you need any help send Phog a tell and i'll see what i can do. I'm VS though so will be you enemy. :D
