Any one know if they fixed the mic comms for the final release? They were utterly broken in beta on PS4. Made communication basically impossible.

When i had my brief play, i could hear people chatting in the squad which never worked in the Beta, Also could hear people in close proximity.

Servers are up, and there is another 2.2gb patch to download .

Seriously starting to do my head in, this.

I downloaded the game, couldn't get on, tried one last time before hitting the sack, another 2.2gb download. Started it, put PS4 in sleep mode, it's STILL not done.

I have 70mb internet too.

Damn wasters, I wanna kill in mah Vanguard dammit!

I'm in. New Conglomerate on Ceres, in case anyone wants to join up. Name is Leeisaknob (he's not really a knob though).

There are 5-10min queues to get in however. Let's see what the gameplay is like.

Sony are investigating slow download speeds in europe apparently, Driveclub PS+ edition is going to take 24hours to download, it's already been active since 10am

Talk about throwing you right into the deep end.

Not the prettiest game in the world. But I'm sure it'll be fun.... After I find out what the hell is going on

Only played 20 mins last night but couldn't get used to the vertical camera movement speed - it felt totally different to the horizontal speed which just made the whole thing really odd.

I hope you can change these individually?

I've never played a first person game before where the 2 directional movements felt completely different. Or am I the only one who felt it and it's just me going insane?
Maybe I was just tired...lol

Otherwise, it felt like it might be fun if played with a group and once you level up and actually unlock some decent stuff.
I can't stand playing even BF solo, but this is even worse for solo players so that's going to be key to whether or not I play much of this.

I couldn't even find how to change class on my brief go. Any time I spawned or redeployed it just didn't give me an option to that I could see.

Changing class is pretty easy, Either in your base, Warp gate or next to a Sunderer hold square on the gun terminal, then use R1/L1 to select which class you want, press square to deploy.

You will need to rank up though to unlock some classes, I'm going as medic class, Currently have fully maxed proximity heal, and also a perk where by if i'm inside a vehicle anyone next to it that needs healing will be healed.

The game is really difficult to get into, finding friends is a chore, and getting them to join is just as bad, but once you do it's great fun, We had a squad of 8 last night, and ended up in a battle where around 200 players were fighting for a base

expect to die a lot, and very quickly as well, Running a silencer made a massive difference to my staying alive, and also Spot using R1 but not to often as you will show on the map

I was spawning right into the battle so missed the terminals to change class etc. Didn't think to check the vehicle like.

I'll give it another go when I get the chance and see how I get on. I think it's just been slow going because of the terrible PSN download speeds. A lot of people who I play with are still waiting on the downloads to finish despite all having 70+ meg connections.

Once everyone is on at the weekend I'll be able to give it more of a go.

Stuck in a few hours on this and enjoyed it. Played it on the pc ages ago when it came out. Pretty good port, steady frame rate and graphics.

Waiting to get past lvl 15 so i can join the real war. Only gripe was it took me 20 minutes of queing to get into the server.

You can port to any continent at any time using a warpgate ;)
