All bought now.
Few other little parts: sticky velcro, res holder, screws, cables, 200mm radiator plate, hard drive rack, water temp sensor

I plan on a red/black theme and watercooling CPU and 1x GPU.
I like cylinder reservoirs and want to mount it behind the drive bays/behind where the hdd bays would be. I would be removing the hdd bays.
Underneath the res would be the pump, coolant goes from pump to the front 200mm radaitor, to the gpu, to the cpu, to the top 240mm dual rad, drop into res.
I would make the tubing in 'lines' and using 90 degree fittings (or 2x 45) to turn the water as I like this look.

planned build parts (subject to change):
>Haswell i5 3670k cpu
>MSI Z87-G45 mobo
>ref 7970 by VT3D
>Corsair 650d case
>3tb seagate, 7200rpm, 64mb cache
>250gb samsung 840 ssd
>8gb corsair vengeance 1833mhz red
>AX760 (Fully modular)
>Lian Li hard drive rack with fan
>Samsung DVD rewriter

Cooling:
>EK-FC7970 waterblock + bracket + back optional
>EK Supremacy CPU waterblock
>Black Bitspower compression fittings + 45 and 90 degrees (Purchased some)
>bitspower reservoir 150mm
>DDC pump + top
>hardwarelabs black ice stealth gt 240 radiator
>Phobya 200 v2
>2x 120mm bitfenix spectre pro fan
>2x 120mm gentle typhoons
>2x 200mm bitfenix spectre pro fans
>tygon tubing
>mayhems red coloured coolant

Don't know what size tubing/fittings to get though

EDIT: Going to get 3/8 tygon tubing with a small wall with 3/8 (1/2 OD) fittings because I prefer the look. Also I need a lot of fittings and smaller=cheaper.

Cant help with your water cooling components (as new to it myself) but your building more or less the same system i thinking of too so will defo be watching this thread. Not sure on the colour scheme yet as i guess it depends a lot on what the colour the mobo's are, i was thinking a black and purple theme, like the Decepticons from Transformers :D, but not sure if you can get purple coolant? Any way good luck

PS: From the sounds of it your are better of using coloured tubing that coloured coolant, so that should sort my problem out

I would swap those 120 rad fans for Synthe Gentle Typhoons or Corsair SP120's (You could use the red rings with your red coolant too.) would be better performance.

Cool, like I said I'm waiting for Haswell so will be awhile :p You can get some purple coolant, I personally prefer the looks of coloured coolant to tubing especially when having a plain reservoir. Good luck with your build.

I'll look into getting the gentle typhoons, or the corsair ones hmmm haha. I need to think about it because I think I want the case to light up red, though the 5 LED fans would probably be overkill.
From the looks of the stealth 240 radiator you can only have fans on 1 side so the Radiator will be on the roof of the case and fans underneath so you'd be able to see them.
I saw those corsair fans on a Noctua C14 heatsink in a blue themed case, they looked sexy as hell on that.
Would it be worth swopping the spectre pro 200mm's?

All those fans are super overkill for just lighting up red. I swapped those fans for corsair sp 120's on my radiators, the performance boost is just too good not to. Go with an LED strip or Cold cathode lights.

I have your case and the space between your motherboard and the roof is about 72mm. This means that you can have up to 47mm thick radiator and a set of fans inside the case and another set on the outside. Definately swap out your radiator for another one, though the stealth's perform well, they put a lot more strain on the pump than thicker radiators. Since you have the room for a thicker radiator, i recommend either the 35.5mm thick XSPC radiator or the EK waterblocks 47mm thick XT radiator (i use this one with a single set of fans and it fits perfectly, any bigger and my motherboard waterblock and RAM block wouldn't fit.

As for the 200mm fan, there arent that many suited to radiators. Silverstone has a few 180mm fans which perform much better than other 200mm when pushing air through. These are the AP 181 and AP182. You can mount these using the fan grill that comes with the radiator.

Thanks, I think I'll swop the 120mm fans for either gentle typhoons or sp/af120. Or maybe 2 of them for radiator and back intake fan can be LED. Cathode does look good otherwise though
I want everything contained in the case which is why I bought the stealth 240 and I'm getting a ddc or d5 pump, hopefully that should be good enough.
I don't want to mod the case, I want the 200mm fan to fit without drilling holes or the 180mm I think will fit. I'll probably have LED on front and no LED behind.
Are there any 200mm fans that will fit cleanly, I saw the phobya needed very slight modding or it may have just squeezed tightly in, can't remember which.

Was about to order SP120 quiet edition but thought I might need the high performance ones. Going to go with 2 gentle typhoons 1850rpm I think for top Rad. Side maybe spectre pro idk yet
