Hi, I'm planning a pretty basic PC for my Dad who rarely uses his PC for much more than Office multitasking and online radio. So here's the plan

I cant seem to find the processor you mentioned in the first link but I believe the intel one used in that link is better than the one you specced so take a look for yourself

If I go by this and swap the Sempron for this dual core athlon the total cost is around £280. Should I go with that and the athlon?

EDIT: Add around £20 for an arctic cooling freezer 7 pro (never trusted stock coolers)

The PSU is nasty, never skimp on a PSU.

my Semperon build is better, My athlon build is better still.
