Plans to monitor all internet use?

I imagine that would have to be one heck of a system!! (feel free to tell me otherwise as my internet knowledge is pants) Monitoring the whole of the UK internet?, they can barely organize broadband coverage across the country never mind checking all the information!!!

there are companies that can (and to a degree already do) do this... make phorm look like a child's toy - what do you think GCHQ do all day? ;)

(i would say more but then the lizard men would be after me....)

And they can't do much more than monitor a small percentage of just emails sent each day, let alone webpages viewed, which is why they target specific users.;)

All we have to do is draw up a list of *really* nasty sites. Terrorism, extreme porn, bomb making... the dirtier and more provocative the better. Then we distribute it to everyone in the country and all visit those sites regularly.

We will then be able to employ *all* the unemployed of the world to study the accumulated data and then build & guard the prisons necessary to hold us all.

Economic crisis solved! ;-)

Knowing this government

9-10am- Check wheelie bin locations.
10-12am- Read everyone's e-mail then send several self incriminating inappropriate jokes to the person in the next cubicle/ browse OcUK.
12-2pm- Lunch.
2-3pm- Departmental meeting (nap time)/ pop down to see that hot chic in admin.
3-4pm- Download porn through super fast satellite comms links.
4-5pm- Coffee/ filling.
5-6pm- Leave crucially important info relating to national security on public transport somewhere.
6-7pm- Dinner
7-12pm- Strictly come pop idol superstars get me out of eastenders on ice.
12-7am- Sleep safe in the knowledge that the UK is safe once more!

Simple solution ..... don't vote Labour.

Well it's a bit late now isn't it. If Labour told everyone of these anit-terror laws before the vote, they wouldn't be in power.

So we'll vote in another party, but there's nothing to stop them lying to us too and doing the same thing.

Ah democracy.

While all politicians are untrustworthy, I would place the Conservatives and the Lib Dems well ahead of Labour when it comes to erosion of basic freedoms.
