They look wicked!

I was always wondering how that 7.1 thing works for headphones. Seems like an interesting concept since most of us will probably be in a small room where even the bestest 7.1 system will not fully work for surround sound. This on the other hand doesn't require large spaces etc. I would buy one of these if not for the fact that I intend to get a new gfx card :)

Any opinions so far?

EDIT:

I just noticed they are USB??? whaaa? I mean is this a good or a bad thing? What about all those optical cables etc. to get maximum sound quality. USB 2.0 is relatively slow even if compared with say Firewire right? What is the sound processed by then if you have a custom sound card? (I feel like I'm getting old, not being able to be on time with all those things :D)
