** PLANTRONICS - NEW PRODUCTS - GREAT DEALS **

The 780s are as awesome as people say... unless you're an audiophile of any kind.
As someone on whom high-end, fancy audio really is wasted - I found them very good, until they broke and I replaced them with the Vengeance 1500.

The instant I tried the Vengeances, I realised how RAW the 780's sound was. It's good and powerful, but greatly lacks in the subtle finery of even headsets just a few quid more.
By most accounts, the head band seems to snap around the 8-month mark, if used almost daily.

But for that price, the 780s are still very very good. You could get one or two extra pairs as backups and still save against some more expensive sets.

I had the 780's a while back, I found they were a little too small for my head. However, the real issue was that the headband literally snapped in half after a year or so. So not great build quality. The sound was pretty good for gaming though. Ok for music too. I've moved to an external DAC and some Shure headphones now, which is awesome (bit more pricey though!)
